La r�pida e impresionante evoluci�n del “software,” que ha sido posible por el desarrollo de las nuevas capacidades de los computadores personales, mantiene a miles de programadores en una carrera contra el tiempo para presentar a los usuarios de estos productos, nuevas facilidades y herramientas donde la �nica limitaci�n es la capacidad e imaginaci�n del usuario.
REVIT es un programa que est� basado en la tecnolog�a BIM�, que nosotros definimos como un “programa para dise�o de un modelo virtual y param�trico de informaci�n para la construcci�n de un proyecto arquitect�nico”. En este proceso, los autores de textos y documentos de referencia, han enfocado su trabajo principalmente a explicar los detalles del funcionamiento de los programas y aplicaciones, desde ejemplos b�sicos hasta proyectos relativamente complejos; con poqu�simas excepciones, no se ha enfrentado el concepto, an�lisis y aplicaci�n del elemento fundamental de REVIT y BIM que es “La Familia”.
REVIT ha sido creado y desarrollado bajo el concepto de “elementos o herramientas nada m�s que en Familias”. Todos los elementos de cualquier Familia, son un conjunto o colecci�n relacional de informaci�n que usa el modelo virtual del proyecto.
Una primera opci�n es editar o modificar la Familia para cambiar sus caracter�sticas y propiedades de acuerdo a las necesidades del modelo o proyecto, creando un nuevo “tipo” de elemento arquitect�nico que hereda las propiedades del original pero dotado de los par�metros o caracter�sticas que requiere el dise�o. La segunda opci�n es dise�ar y construir herramientas a partir de una plantilla, dotando a la Familia de todos los elementos, caracter�sticas y par�metros que necesita para que cumpla con las funciones y objetivos que necesita el usuario.
La creaci�n de Familias REVIT no es un proceso dif�cil pero es complejo y requiere una buena planificaci�n. Este curso le capacita no s�lo para modificar Familias existentes (aquellas que vienen originalmente con el programa o que se pueden obtener de otros proyectos, de portales en el internet, o de foros de usuarios) sino tambi�n para crear nuevas Familias dise�adas por el usuario.
Me atrevo a afirmar que el s�lo estudio de las t�cnicas para crear y editar Familias REVIT (Architecture�, MEP� y Structure�,) CONSTITUYE UNA NUEVA PROFESI�N, por la inmensa demanda que existe de personas capacitadas para este trabajo de parte de oficinas de arquitectos, dise�adores, constructores y empresas que suministran elementos constructivos al mercado (muebles, puertas, ventanas, elementos arquitect�nicos y estructurales).
Este libro es un trabajo especializado que brinda conocimientos esenciales b�sicos de REVIT (2013 Y 2014) para asistir a usuarios principiantes e intermedios en la creaci�n y modificaci�n de Familias personalizadas. Desde el punto de vista de las facilidades ofrecidas y procedimientos que deben seguirse en el "Editor de Familias" (que es un mini-REVIT), las versiones del 2013 y 2014 no presentan variaciones importantes; por lo tanto los principios, t�cnicas, procedimientos, ejercicios y documentaci�n que se desarrollan en este texto, son v�lidas para las dos versiones.
En formato impreso, este libro electr�nico equivale aproximadamente a 280 p�ginas (de 18 cm x 23 cm � 7” x 9”) y contiene 165 im�genes.
